Our Mission: Making the World a Safer Place. Together.

We are ready to do cybersecurity training the right way. Are you?

Right way?

Cybersecurity is a profession; there are well-defined work-roles.

Define yourself starting with your career plan. Choose a work-role and then fit all training to your career goals. This is the right way.

Our training is displayed in both forms: certification and professionalization.

Certification: the market has historically trained hiring managers and us to think in those ways. You cannot get a job by rejecting the system.

Professionalization: it’s about you and your career path. It’s the new way.

In October 2007 the Information Technology Security Essentials Body of Knowledge was published (ITSecEBK). The “ITsec EBK” became NICCS and SP800-181.

NICCS has been built over the last 15 years by 1000’s of cybersecurity professionals across government, higher education, certification bodies, and Dean Bushmiller. This new professionalization framework has been adopted globally.

If you dig into certifications or training organizations today, you will see they reference the work roles of NICCS. But do certification bodies want to give up control or the money?

Using NICCS as a template, Expanding Security built a community focused on cybersecurity training, virtual mentors, and being efficient in the artificial intelligence age.

We use: asynchronous video, glossaries, and mindmaps to deliver core knowledge. We meet synchronously to clear up learners’ questions. We validate knowledge with “Ai proof” quizzes.

Choose professionalization for your career. Cast off certification if you can and if you cannot, choose both until the market catches up.

Take control today.

Training begins on Nov 2.
