Course Overview:

The CCCSP Course is vendor-neutral. The course is an internationally targeted validation of security skills and knowledge on the subject of cloud computing and security. While there is no required prerequisite, the course is intended to achieve all the goals of 3 Cloud Computing certifications:

  1. CSA’s CCSK -Certificate of Cloud Security Knowledge
  2. CompTIA’s  Cloud Essentials or Cloud+
  3. ISC2’s CCSP – Certified Cloud Security Professional

Training Purpose:

Technical knowledge and skills required to conceptualize, design, and engineer secure cloud solutions across complex enterprise environments. The student will apply critical thinking and judgment across a broad spectrum of security disciplines to propose and implement solutions that map to enterprise drivers.

Learning Objectives:

Each course topic is covered and demonstrated. The knowledge, skills, and abilities tend toward lecture and discussion. Tasks tend toward lab activities. There will be readings before each session and a quiz at the end to validate the learning.

Additional activities:

Cloud computing requires interacting with third party services. Students will setup virtual services on a local machine. Migrate services to the cloud. Secure those cloud resources. Offer resources to other student and validate the design.
